“After spending many days on lockdown due to COVID, we’re celebrating the return of great live entertainment with a gathering of amazing talent, many of which are pinnacles in the dark and independent music community. Guests and artists will be traveling in from all over to enjoy this monumental occasion.. if for some reason guests can’t make it in person, there will be a live stream for all to enjoy from afar. It’s going to be an epic real ‘family’ gathering and celebration for our music community in which we all love and work in. We’re finally getting back out there!,” states event host Judy Lyon (Torched Music).

John Fryer – “It’s gunna be a big black shinny music celebration of love and life. Come on down and say hi to all the wonderful people who are traveling across time to be there for you for this amazing event.”

Roy Mayorga – “I look forward to spinning songs that had a huge impact on me and are a part of my musical DNA. Also can’t wait to come back out behind the drums with MINISTRY on our up coming US tour this October, see you all soon!”

Azam Ali – “I could not think of a better occasion to premiere my poetic works than alongside so many brilliant artists and friends in my community whom I have not seen for more than a year. This shall be a night of celebrating life, friendship & art.”

DJ Skum – “”I feel honored to be able to do the Torched Music annual party at St Felix coming straight out of the pandemic. and to be among friends like Mark Thwaite, Roy Mayorga, John Fryer and Ashley Bad makes it all that more exceptional. Can’t wait to get the dance floor slithering like snakes.”

DJ Nocturna – This event is like the brightest stars have aligned in the sky playing a melodious euphony in the city of angels

MGT – ‘After what feels like an infernal eternity in perpetual covid lockdown, i’m looking forward to unleashing & spinning some of our new delishibly dark remixes at St Felix! Also looking forward to spinning once again with the mighty Roy Mayorga!’

Anjela Piccard – “Taking the stage again in and of itself, is more than an honor and a privilege. It’s like a releasing one of your last breaths. It’s not the end, it’s a new beginning and that’s kind of my thoughts currently. As I exhale and reach the stage again, it’s like an embrace I’ve been waiting for, for an entire lifetime. As for the performance.. I fill the audience in on what’s happening. It’s more of a reflection of the people around me and just myself. Nothing is as large or as small, is only ourselves.”

Ashley Bad – “In these uncertain times, one thing we can always count on is the healing power of music. I’m looking forward to be apart of a great line-up coming together for a special night of fiendishly dark music!”

Brian Hodges – As longtime fans of 4AD Records, Marselle and I are so excited to come to LA and finally mark an end to the long lockdown by spinning tunes alongside John Fryer—a legend of ethereal and electronic music. This event also gives us an opportunity to celebrate two recent releases: “Anonymity” a collaborative album from Marselle and Pieter Nooten (4AD, Clan of Xymox) and “Lore” the Blue Hour’s latest album of dark dreampop.
